Storm International speaks about positive results of 2017

Storm International company, which manages a large network of gambling establishments, published operating results of 2017. At the moment, the holding operates Shangri La casinos in Armenia, Georgia, Latvia, and Belarus, as well as ten slot halls in Germany. In Russia, where the Shangri La network began to develop, the company does not have a casino, but Storm International owns business areas.

Two Shangri La casinos were the most successful in its countries in 2017, Darren Keane, Storm International CEO said. It's amazing that there are units in Georgia and Armenia, as these countries are relatively small and have a very saturated market.

The Georgian unit showed an increase in operating indicators by 21%. In the casino, there were more guests and along with it, the profits increased. From the first day of work, the institution was focused on VIP visitors, primarily on foreign tourists. But only recently the number of foreigners began to increase significantly. According to the management, this is directly related to the tight schedule of international flights to Tbilisi. For junket tourists the opportunity to quickly and conveniently reach the casino has always been very important.

The Armenian division demonstrated even more stunning results. Attendance and revenue rose almost 50%. This is a huge achievement, as the gambling market of Armenia is really saturated. In obtaining such indicators, a huge role was played by the strength of brand of Shangri La, Darren Keane clarified. It is widely known in the CIS and Eastern Europe for fair play and increased care for guests. A strong management team also works in Yerevan.

Other significant achievements for 2017 were the awards for Shangri La Tbilisi and Shangri La Minsk. Both casinos are recognized as the best in their countries and awarded authoritative prizes.
