A good team manager should be confident that each group participant clearly imagines his or her part in the job and can perform the assigned task. The team leader must be able to make appropriate task assignments. Otherwise someone in the team will not know the proper way to accomplish the task and the entire job will suffer, and time and materials will be wasted.
