Our initial efforts to include kayak fishing articles within Sport Fishing Australia magazine were met with such favour, that we decided to dedicate a whole new magazine to the pursuit.

Australian Fishing Network is the biggest fishing media company in Australia with regards to producing the largest variety of fishing media products.

Although initially dedicated to providing saltwater only information, it has subsequently grown to include freshwater content.

Flyfisher magazine has grown to earn the respect of hardened fly anglers in Australia and New Zealand.

On the back of such demand, AFN developed its Tactics DVD range.

Yak Fisher was launched in autumn 2008. Its first issue was “feeling its way” with 12 pages of articles and reviews.

The Sport Fish DVD is a production that is closely related to our popular publications of Freshwater Fishing Australia, Sport Fishing Australia, YAK Fisher and Flyfisher magazines.

The magazine is today beautifully published and goes to market twice a year. The editorial team is led by Trevor Hawkins and Phillip Weigall, two of Australia’s most respected flyfishing authors.
